Title: “World Cup” Soccer Tournament
Topic: Physical Education Activity
Grade Level: High school (grades 9-12) PE and Health class
Idea: The students group into teams of around 5-6 players and each team picks a country they would like to represent in our “World Cup”. They use a computer to research their country’s flag, colors, national anthem, and soccer history, then download the anthem to be played at the beginning of their soccer match in PE class.
