Velocity, acceleration, momentum, and Newton’s Third Law
grades9-12
The students will have the opportunity to use computers and sensors to see how the speed of carts on frictionless tracks change when they collide. The sensors will also be used to see changes in acceleration to calculate forces on the sensors and compare the two sensors forces to each other. Then the students will make conjectures about Newton’s Laws.
