Topic: Maximizing the connection between contemporary entertainment and Anglo-Saxon epic poetry.

Description: After discussing Heroism and Anglo-Saxon values, the students will act out a scene from Beowulf to help them understand what is going on. The students will make movies of their scenes and then can edit them in iMovie or a similar program. Next, students can draw (using a computer if they want), write an epic, and then compare the movie (after watching parts of it) with the poem.
