Title: Where in the World?

 

Topic:  Current European Geography

 

Grade: 10, Sophomore AP European Studies

 

Idea:

Students will use Google Earth to explore the geographic features and regions of western Europe. After exploring the area they will create their own map, featuring both political and regional features, on a blank map provided.  This lesson is meant to help students learn about how geographic features affect political boundaries. 

 

Note:

Google Earth will have to be downloaded individually on each student’s computer.
