Title: Female Renaissance Painters
Topic: Using the Internet to research an artist and create a PowerPoint presentation to present what they have learned to the class.
Grade: 9-12 Art History/ Painting
Idea: Student will be asked to partner with another classmate and select a prominent female painter from the Renaissance to create a PowerPoint presentation on. The team will select there painter from the website that that I have chose. They are expected to read the biography on that site, but also use a search engine to discover other reliable sites about the artist. The team will then get together to form a PowerPoint of what they have learned about their artist to present to the class.
