This is a lesson plan for research about foods and their significance in their own lives and then also in the lives of people in Latin America or Spain. Students will practice their descriptive writing in Spanish and explore the traditions of a Spanish-Speaking country.

This is a great idea! The students are able to see how the food in their country affects students in other countries. The students are able to have a connection with the Spanish culture.

We did this in my high school Spanish class and then we brought in samples of the foods for everyone to try. It was fun and memorable, so good job!
